Panasonic's Amplified phone is designed to enable consumers with hearing loss, vision impairments and arthritis to comfortably handle and operate the handset with ease.

Dect Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction by up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology. Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID that announces caller ID information in between rings. What could be more convenient?

This feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.

Everyone hears differently. To maximize clarity or accommodate hearing loss, Panasonic added the Tone Equalizer to all 2011 models. This exclusive feature actually lets you control the bass, mid-range, or treble tones in a callers voice for maximum clarity.

Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it won't ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.

Multi-tasking while you are talking on a cordless handset whether it's jotting down a quick note, pouring a glass of juice or folding a few pieces of laundry is often difficult due to the tendency of the handset to slip as you cradle it on your shoulder. The rubberized grip helps prevent slipping, making it easier and more comfortable to cradle the phone when you want to work with your hands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good choice Very easy to use. Though love to have more speed dial memory. Durable product for an not so expensive product. November 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 A big success with an elderly hard-of-hearing It was simple to install and so far has been a big success. There may be many features that the person using the phone will never need but for now he's happy to be reconnected to the world. I also appreciated the online help I received when searching for the product, and also for the phone contact when I had problems with payment details. Even if they all call themselves Jessica! Panasonic products have always been of steady high quality, ever since my first answering machin in the 1990s and followed my instincts when choosing a phone for my elderly father. I was right. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Panasonic Phone Purchased this phone for my parents who insist on having a home phone. They love it! My Dad has a hard time hearing (who won't admit it might be time for a hearing aid) but finds this phone easy to hear the other people on it. Very pleased with this product I would highly recommend. Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointment 2 Bad things: 1- the 3 buttons under the screen (for PhBK+ Menu+ Redial) are in BLACK rubber on a BLACK handset; how can one see them?? we had to put a bright sticker on the middle button ( Menu) 2- the screen light is poorly designed: the last lIne ( FULLY CHARGED or MISSED CALL) has a BLACK background- making it hard to read- we have to use a lamp. Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond expectations ! Surveys are usually dumb as like "Please tell me how great I am !" BUT, reviews are somewhat more reliable if reading between the lines... Here it is... I have a box full of V-Tech phones all working, but none fulfilling my needs for my hearing impaired situation. Search again...? Panasonic, a trusted name of my many past years... Click click here and there to a web site...PANASONIC. GOOD GRIEF...what planet is this...? A drop down chat screen appeared. "Hello... My name is Jessica. How may I help you...?" In less than one minute Jessica located me and I saw the phone I needed. Three minutes later the purchase was complete AND Jessica remained with me thru the entire transaction. I have been using my Panasonic phone for a few weeks now and I discovered it has even more features than I ever expected. The handset is a full function with a full menu control and heavy enough to seat in its carriage or lay on a table and not be easily swept away with a simple bumping. BIG screen...BIG numbers...BIG menu words and great great back lighting...! I have only one negative remark. The speaker volume of the main station base is insufficient and I need someone to tell me what recorded messages are about. However, the handset phone volume is excellent. For my general comment...BUY PANASONIC as they certainly know how to do business right...! R. Boudreau Indiana USA September 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Great phone for a senior, high contrast buttons This phone was purchased for a senior family member, who was having difficulty with the buttons on an existing phone. The buttons on this phone are nice and big, with a high contrast. Very easy to see. It is very easy to guide our family member, to finding and using the 'OFF' button. Nice big letters in red. Using the speaker phone feature, is essential for us; and it is easy for our family member to find the button, and use it. This phone has 3 speed dial buttons. Although it will take some time to teach our family member how to use these, I feel these speed dial numbers are useful for other family members who visit, and the care-giver. The base unit, is a nice compact footprint. August 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by wireless phone The numbers are large and easy to read the keys light up. I can take my hand set a long distance from the base and it still works. August 4, 2015
