Rated 5 out of 5 by GK ES-ST25KS very nice! I've been using Panasonic shavers for about 25 years and before that I was a Braun user. My first Panasonic shaver lasted > 17 yrs. I abandoned my second Pana shaver after several months because it was not a high cpm model. My third shaver fell 6 ft off a ledge onto a tile floor, the shaver worked fine but the trimmer broke. In my opinion Panasonic shavers are hands-down the best because they give a close shave, not quite as good as a razor but very close. Specifically I've used Panasonic shavers that are 11k CPM or greater, wet-dry, and come with a charging stand. If you are about to get a Panasonic shaver you may want to consider those features. The higher the cpm's the better. The ES-ST25KS is a 13k cpm shaver (nice). Very light weight, very stylish too. I probably got about 10+ shaves on a full charge. It does not have a pivoting head. The models that have pivoting heads have the option to lock it, to stop the pivoting action. I don't prefer the pivot action so the ES-ST25KS is fine. The only short coming of the ES-ST25KS is that it has no indicator to display the remaining battery charge, which is a very nice feature but not necessary. September 21, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Micky Great Razor! I bought this for my 91 year old dad. His old razor was a 3 headed Remington that was catching his skin even with new blades. We bought a Braun 340s. I knew it would be a big change going from a circular motion to a straight up and down motion. He was getting kinda grumpy not being able to shave. I recommended he use Lectric Shave that he was used to using with the old razor. I'm not sure if he did. But when I went to see him after using it, his face was scruffy like men like today. He's not into that style. I ended up shaving his face, it took 5-10 minutes, and spent a lot of time on his neck. So I ordered this Panasonic ES-ST25KS from Amazon. It has a really light feel and was nice to hold. It was pretty quiet too. So I reminded my dad to use the Lectric Shave. When I called him this morning, he did use it. He got a close shave using the Lectric Shave. SUCCESS! He wasn't grumpy anymore. Yea! I'll check his face out later today. He's in assisted living, usually a lot of fun. I'm glad he got his sense of humor back. I told him when I took it to him that if he didn't like the razor, I'd keep it for my legs. So he told me I could go over there and use it anytime. LOL. I'll have to get my own. September 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by mudman great replacement for old ES8103 My old ES8103 had developed an annoying humming sound after 8 solid years of near daily service (still worked fine, took a full charge--no complaints, 8 years is a good run!), and I purchased the ST25KS as a replacement. I find that the ST25 gives an even better shave, is easier to maneuver and clean, and is more convenient due to the stand and cleaning scuppers. Also, it's quieter (compared to my ES8103 before it developed a loud hum). The ST25 has a fixed head and does not pivot like the ES8103. I was initially leery about this, but it turns out that this results in a better shave. The head is also set at a sharper angle, which means you can approach the jawline from below more easily and be at the perfect angle to shave difficult to reach whiskers. Besides being very efficient, the design does not detract from comfort in any way. It's very easy to clean and the stand is handy (I didn't want a cleaning station, there's no reason for one with the razor being so easy to clean with water). Moreover, compared to 4- and 5-blade razors, the foil & blades are reasonable. Don't forget that the foil should be changed once a year and the blades every two years. The consumables can really get expensive for the "latest and greatest models" (which I find to be too large for efficient shaving, especially for the upper lip). All in all, I'm very pleased with the ST25, and I'm hoping it will prove as dependable and long-lived as my previous ES8103. Nice razor, Panasonic. Simple and effective! June 29, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Endron A clean smooth shave The razor provides a speedy, smooth comfortable shave with no irritation or pulling such as was the case with my old rotary razor. May 29, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xeon256 Love it I've had almost every shaver and hand blade imaginable. Shavers burned and yanked, blades cut and refills are unholy expensive, so I decided to give this one a try surprised Panasonic made shavers. Fired it up and it mowed off my beard no problems. No pulling, no burn, single pass smooth. The motor was lol a bit surprising with how it sounded, and insanely fast. It followed the curves of my face nicely, even getting the stubborn hold outs along the apple. Cleaning was a snap, rise via the shutters, dry and done. Once a week I run a bit of soap on the blade array and run it to sanitize, it's like a new shaver each time. So far I haven't had to charge it, and it's been two weeks(every other day shave, plus it only takes like 1.5-2 mins vs Panasonic's 3 min estimation) so battery life is excellent. The shaver is compact, and slim, fits in the hand nicely, light weight, and semi quiet, tho a 13k cpm motor can't really be silent, but it is the quietest one I've had. The only con is that it can only be charged via the stand, but eh not much of a con January 15, 2015
