To remove the black bars from the top and bottom, press the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the remote. The option available to remove the horizontal bars is Zoom.
To remove the black bars from the left and right hand side, press the [FORMAT] or [ASPECT] button on the remote. The options available to remove the vertical bars are H-Fill, Just, and Zoom.
If the power indicator is blinking on the front of the TV, turn off the TV. Then unplug the power cable from the current power source and try a different electrical outlet. Also, remove the power cable from the rear of the TV and plug it back it in (the power cable tab is inserted correctly when you hear a click).
If your TV has a built-in digital tuner (see FAQ#1), you do not need to purchase a digital tuner.
